We use  unless you specify otherwise. Baskets by Rita has selected FedEx ground shipping services for on time delivery of your gift. However, we do not provide any guarantees and will not be held liable for any failure on the part of these companies to provide on time service. Within the Continental United States we offer a flat rate shipping for FedEx Ground delivery. Note that ground shipment times are based on business days, so do not include weekdays or holidays. 1 day shipping would be considered the day after the order was placed. (For example, if you place an order to Los Angeles on Monday before 2 pm, it should be delivered on Thursday afternoon.) Once you place your order and it is shipped you will receive ship confirmation and a tracking number so you can check on the status of your order.

Our local courier in the Metro Denver and Greater Fort Collins/Loveland area will provide you with confirmation immediately after your gift has been delivered.  Weekend deliveries in Denver are available if pre-arranged by 4:00 on Friday.
Orders received after 4:00 pm on Friday will be processed the following Monday.

Responsibility for Failed or Re-Deliveries

While we make every effort to ensure the accuracy of all information, we reserve the right to make corrections if an error does occur. Please check all addresses carefully. We guarantee delivery only to the addresses we are given. Baskets by Rita is not responsible for shipping or delivery charges incurred by the courier (FEDEx, Messenger Service) when (1) the customer provided an incorrect or outdated address, (2) the gift recipient is on vacation or unable or unwilling to accept the gift or (3) the gift has to be rerouted to another location.  There will be a $5.00 wrong address charge if the gift is rerouted and delivered the same day.  If the gift is returned to our facilities by FedEx, there will also be an additional delivery charge.  If the basket is undeliverable a 50% restocking fee will be charged.

Wine Shipping Restrictions:

In purchasing an alcoholic beverage you represent to Baskets by Rita that you are at least 21 years old and the person to whom it will be delivered is at least 21 years old.

Due to state laws, we can ship alcohol to the following states:

AL, AZ, CO, CT, DC, ID, IN, IA, MI, MN, NE, NV, NM, NC, ND, NY, OH, OR, SC, WA, WI, WY.

If you request shipment to a state not shown on this list we will substitute non-alcoholic beverage.

We cannot ship alcohol to P.O. Boxes or Military bases.
